We have not found a marriage record for them, but between census and baptismal records, there is little doubt. We believe that Joseph's parents were Joseph Myette and Susanna Chatalle Polite. We have again found no record linking him to his parents, however have done DNA testing that indicates the two Joseph's are linked. We have no information on Susanna, it is possible she was indian and that was her christian name. Do you have any more information on the Iroquois story?
