Wilton Selby, age 8, step-son Georgia Selby, age 6, step-daughter (perhaps the "Goldie" you speak of?) After John Powers died, Etta Powers married Mr. Selby; she then married Mr. Weaver on 4 Mar 1924 New Madrid, New Madrid MO. That record reads Etta "Shelby" although both censuses read "Selby." Your Luther would have been born in Pemiscot County; as his mother is listed as Sarah Fox on his death record, "Etta" could be short for either a first or middle name.
