Born Dec. 17, 1933, in New Madrid, Mo., he lived in Okaloosa County, Fla., since 1984. He served with the U.S. Air force in the Korean War and during the Vietnam era, retiring as a technical sergeant after 20 years of service. He had been a bus driver for the Scott County (Mo.) R-5 School District. Haynes was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Crestview, the Foxwood Country Club and Pacemaker Golf Association. His wife, Katherine Brummel Haynes, survives of the home. Other survivors include: one son, Wayne Edward Haynes of Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Georgette Cameron of Cape Carteret, N.C., and Sandra Seiler of Wrightstown, Wis.; one Brother, Edward Haynes of Morrisville, Mo.; and a cousin, Bill Haynes of Sikeston, Mo.
