He is shown on the 1900 census as living in the New Madrid township. His first wife(name unknown) died in childbirth around 1866. That child was Willie Porter Williams. He married very soon after to Sarah Jane Duncan, they had three children Stella, who married a Wren, Sophie, who married a Glass, and my g-grandfather, Bailey Williams,b.1900. His father Bill was killed in a timber accident the following year. I have no information on this family except the 1900 census record. Birth, marriage, and death record searches have been unsuccessful so far. I would be very grateful if anyone has any information about this family, especially of William Williams' parents.
