I am researching any information I can find on my Riley family. I was told there were black Riley's and white Riley's and that they got along. My grandmother was Sidney Riley and her parents were Dan and Rhublear Riley (Davis). My uncle Sam Riley lived on the "White Riley's" land. I was also told that some of the Rileys moved to Decatur, Illinois. I have found that there were many Riley's in New Madrid, and I'm guessing but not sure that I might be related to Amos Riley.
