However, I'm having trouble confirming that father/son connection. Records I have seen indicate JOEL BAKER was married to an Elizabeth Davis. And additional records showing Larkin (Joels possible son) married to Polegia Evaline Price. If this is the same group of people you mentioned, I'd love more information or anything that might help clarify. He was the 2nd sheriff of New Madrid County from 1802 to 1812 when he moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri after the earth quake. He had one brother John and three sistes; Ann, Elizabeth & Mary. They seem to have been some of the leaders of the Night Riders. I have an account of a lot of the happening that went on concerning them. It was collected from the Dunklin Democrat in Kennett. Noah Willoughby is burried in the Clarkton cemetery with his wife Elizabeth and Walter is burried in a Kennett cemetery. I visited Noah's and Lizie's grave stones in Clarkton last Sept. 2009.
