In 1998, the New Madrid Historical Museum reprinted "Parma, Missouri: The First 50 Years, 1904-1954," it could be it is still for sale there: 573 748-5944. The museum is open every day of the year except Christmas. When I find the time or if I find the time I will look through the book for any Tinkers. Hi Debbie, I do not have my county book handy but there are a couplep of places on line to check now, the first is the Rootsweb County listing for New Madrid at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~monewmad/nm-cemetery/nmmo-cem.htm. The other is the City of New Madrid now has the cemeteries inside the city limits and it even has an index. It is at http://www.new-madrid.mo.us/index.aspx?NID=119 Mounds is located between Howardville and New Madrid, just north of there is also the Baines cemetery. If you post the names you are looking for one of us should be able to check our indexs to see where the person is located.
