Hi, Everyone sure is quiet. I'm sure for the most part you are like me and a working person who wishes there was nothing more to do than be a genealogist! I found out the name of the original submitter to LDS for the material that Thomas is the father of John. It was done in the 80's but the person still has the same address. Hopefully they will answer my written request. When material is submitted to LDS there is documentation but of course, we are dealing with something that is difficult to accurately document. There are LDS records going back to the 1200's on Moncriefs. Maybe if we can settle who the father is we can get back further.
