Lucille Moncrief Griffin Services for Lucille Moncrief Griffin, 90, are at 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2000, at Allen & Allen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Keown officiating. Interment is at Big Creek Cemetery. Grandsons will act as pallbearers. Mrs. Griffin died Saturday, May 13, 2000. Born Dec. 25, 1909, in Coolidge, she was the daughter of William B. Moncrief and Sarah Parker Moncrief, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Charles Thomas Griffin, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and was a member of Coolidge Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Bettye Jo Carlton, Coolidge; sons, W.M. Griffin, Morven, and J.T. Griffin, Valdosta; a daughter, Burnett Barnes, Thomasville; a sister, Bonnie Summerall, Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Billy Griffin, Dottie G. Alligood, Joseph "Mac" Barnes, Gail Griffin, Charles Griffin, Cindy G. Weber, Rebecca Carlton, Carlesy Jo C. Davis, Daniel Carlton and David Carlton; and 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings, Bud Moncrief, L.D. Moncrief, Berry Moncrief, Evie M.
