I understand he was an Old School Baptist Minister and that he pastored Big Rock Church from 1893 - 1900. I am an Old School Baptist historian and would love to have any information about him that you have. I have several books of biographies of ministers and he was never in any of them. I have a short history of Big Rock Church that lists him as one of the pastors, but until reading your post I didn't even know what the intials, "J. L. C." stood for.
