Ellis is buried in Hopewell Cemetery one of the Cemeteries I post for in Morgan County. I looked up his WW1 Draft Registration and he spelled his name Ellis Berkley and he was born Oct 4, 1889, was natural born, white, was a farmer, was Tall, stocky with blue eyes and black hair. He was single and worked his own farm. FHL Roll 1683429. [email protected] If you can't find a family member that wants it the little Museum in Morgan County would love to have the picture to put with others from the area in Morgan. They have a military room with pictures of men from Morgan County. My cousin Porter Sanders has a memorial from WW1 in the Versailles Cemtery and Porter was also born in Barnett and the two boys probably knew each other. Porter was killed in the Argonne Forrest during WW1 and was buried in France and then Aunt Lizzie had his body brought back to be buried with her in Chico Cemetery, Calif. I can give you the address of Morgan County Museum if you email me.
