Cook kept from his service in the U.S. Army in WWI. Grandad served in the U.S. at Starkville, Mississippi around 1917-1918. On the back of the card he had written "this is a photo of Mr. Ellis Burkley a Missouri boy, from near Barnette, in Morgan County." I hope to share this picture with Ellis' relatives.
