They are in Osage Twp. Morgan County, MO. Bonnie Morris Conrad And for all of you researchers who love quilting and History, Today I volunteered at the DAR Quilt Show at the George R. Brown Convention Center here in Houston. There were people from all over the world to see the show (Ireland, England, Holland and many states) .Some wanted to join the DAR. I was at the research table and met DAR members and wanna be members from Missouri. It was like old home week for me with ladies coming from Springfield, Carthage, Mo and other locations. The DAR brought in Antique Quilts from the National DAR Museum. Some were from the 1750's and were so beautiful. I was amazed at the artistic ability of these gifted ladies. It was quite a show and I am encouraged by all the future genealogists who were in the groups. It seems quilting and family history go together.
