However, I have been unable to find Elisha's father John Taylor md. Nancy Burkhead, NC, who left early w/ Elisha and went to Tenn, where other siblings were born. John d. in Versailles, Morgan, Missouri and Elisha was named his executor. Nancy is not mentioned, and Jeremiah, 14, listed as orphan, went w/ bro., Whitson, to Arkansas, where they both remained.
