Their daughter Nancy is my gg-grandmother. Nancy married John W ELLIOTT in Morgan County on 27 Jan 1859. Their fifth child and my great-grandmother, Linnie Margaret ELLIOTT, was born in Mill Creek and later married Joseph Thomas GOTT. Joe and Linnie married in Douglas County in 1887. Joe and Linnie's eighth child was my grandmother, Minnie Rilla GOTT who married Otis J. BROWER, Their daughter and my mother, Vaunita Helen BROWER married my father, Richard PIERCE. I'll be happy to compare family records if you would like. I have a couple of pictures scanned of Nancy Smith Elliott.
