I would be very interested in knowing if anyone can locate a grave for James Henry Noland? He was my great grandfather and died in Lebanon (or Proctor) I've heard both those names and he was buried at one of those two places. The family got a letter telling them about building the dam and his grave needed to be moved. They couldn't afford to come and move him. I have been told the cemetery is not under water...or someone else moved his remains to a different location. I'm wondering if anyone knows the location of this grave? James Henry Noland was married to Maneriva Ann Frances Shockley. He was the son of Damus Wesley Noland and Susannah Boggs. James Henry Noland was a brother to Ezekiel, Damus, Levi, George and Nancy (Susannah)Noland. Nancy married Dudley Hix.
