Baxter Smith was born 1798 in Ky. They were married 10 Oct.1822 in Franklin Co., Mo. Baxter died 30 Nov. 1876 in Morgan Co., Mo. They are both buried in Mt.Carmel Cemetery Morgan Co. as I suspect are several more family members that have no stones to identify them. However they do have a nice stone. Jane would have been a full sister to my ggggrandfather Robert, a half sister to my ggggrandfather Finley that married Celia Ann Cheek,and a half sister to my ggggrandmother Rachel that married Joseph Williams.
