The typos are my doing based mostly on past experience and other times on whatever is in a public record. There is nothing like a descendants family history to clarify what may be in public records. Obviously, your grandmother knew details that don't always show up in various records. I am not related to this family as far as I know although we might well have some distant cousins in common. I have some documentation for my info but not necessarily the best. If you will contact me directly via my addy on my web site, I will be happy to share with you what I have. Thanks Jerry, for the information! From where did you get this data? Is any of it documented? If this is from your own family tree, there are a few corrections you may wish to make. Other than my GM's declarations, I have little documentation. She was adament that her father's middle name was spelled with an "os", not an "as"; that her half-brother's given name was "Bennie Clark", not "Benjamin Clark" (he was called "Clark" by the family, but used "Ben" in his adult life, per his funeral program), and that her half-sister's given name was "Celia Mae" (she was called "Celia"). What missing dates I have are on my original post. And, there is a typo in my gGM's name (again, see original post). There's more data on the descendents, as I said, if you're interested. Thanks again for your help! If anyone else has info or documentation on the family, I'm all eyes!!!!! KBo Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Richard [email protected] 1765, his oldest son Robert b.1784 and Rachel b. 1778. She would have been 14 when Robert was born. Not impossible but unlikely. In the 1810 Green Co., Ky. census it shows Richard's household with 3 males under 10,(Obediah, Levi and William) 4 male 10-16(Robert,Phillip, Richard and James) and 1 male 26-45(Richard) and 2 females 16-26(Nancy and Jane). No female old enough to be his wife. (Rachel would have been 32 in 1810. Also I have seen speculation that living next door to Rachel and Joseph Williams in the Morgan Co., Mo. census is Abraham and Mahalay McDaniel possibly a son by Rachel's previous marriage. Does anyone have anything on this? No marriage record for Richard or Rachel has been found anywhere by me at this time. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. According to an old map I found Eagans Twin Cove is located at the end of Lake Road 5-33 on this map. Lake Road 5-33 is the second lake road that turns off to the left past Laurie. It must be called something else now.
