Ive been searching for information on Lydia Ellis who reportedly married James (B) Smith in Montgomery Co in 1828. Lydia had a brother named Moses. Lydia and James Smith had a daughter Elizabeth Smith who married Thomas Patton. This is a long shot but I wonder if we cal relate any of this information. Anyone who has information or who could look for marriage records. The Smiths moved west to DeKalb County Missouri around 1860 and I do not find records beyond that.
