    3. I assume that they would be in Montgomery Township, at least according to the 1897 Standard Atlas. Could some to the south be in the Danville Township?     3. I don't have the information right in front of me, but after the 1870 census, 1871/72 another township was created, and Montgomery City was included in the new township. So there isn't any missing 1870 townships in the census.
