    1. RE: [MOMONTGO] Tax lists?
    2. These tax lists are transcribed (online) Apparently transcribed from a book. Not sure where the original lists are today. (Wondering) Does anyone on this list know? I wanted to follow up with the originals. Go to: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocallaw/census.html The 1817 St Charles CO MO list is in the upper left hand (facing) corner box. The 1819 Mont CO MO list is a little further down the page on the right hand (facing) side. > [Original Message] > From: <roeyer@centurytel.net> > To: <MOMONTGO-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: 2/22/2006 8:55:08 AM > Subject: [MOMONTGO] Tax lists? > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZKB.2ACE/449 > > Message Board Post: > > Now you have gotten my attention about a possible new resource - > > A "tax list of 1817" was mentioned in a previous post - How does a person access the Montgomery Cty tax lists ? > > My interest is the Roethemeier (var. 3. Just a reminder, folks -- when you reply to a message board post, you need to click on the link and post your reply on the Web page. Posts on the message board go to the mailing list, but posts on the mailing list do NOT go to the message board.
