Thank you SO much for your response! That information is so helpful. I am the grandaughter of Ernest's first son from a previous marriage. My maiden name is Christina Long. My grandfather (Ernest Louis Long, but went by Ernest) was born in 1919 and passed away in 2002. He didn't know what became of Ernest after he left (my grandfather was about 10 at the time) and I am now trying to put these pieces together.
