His Wives names were Louise Schwenker and Mary Rust. I believe he had 9 children, John, Louisa, Louis?, Henry, George, William, Herman, Fred and Charles. Parents names were Johannes and Lucia Roppel. Came from Germany app. 1863 and settled in Bruce County, Ontario, Canada before emigrating to Missouri. Would appreciate any information anyone could provide as I am having a difficult time getting initial lead in Missouri.
