He was born 1807 in Md., came to MO in ca. 1851 and settled in Middletown, Montgomery Co. Thomas had married three times -- Elizabeth Taylor, 1829; Clarissa Holland, 1843, and Matilda Ellis in 1846. Matilda is the wife that came with Thomas to Missouri; first two wives died in Maryland. In his entire life, Thomas Reed had about 15 children, although I do not know how many of them lived to maturity -- certainly a large percentage. Children are as follows: Isaac James Reed -- b. 1830 John Henry Reed -- 1832-1906 [Montgmry Co.] George Thomas Reed -- b. 1835 Mary Elizabeth Reed -- b. 1837 [?Montgom. Co.?] Stephen Miles Reed -- b. 1839 Matilda Jane Reed -- b. 1842 Willmer Handy Reed -- 1845-1929 [Pike Co.] Miles Reed -- b. ca. 1847 [name not clear] William Reed -- b. ca. 1846 Virginia Reed -- b. ca. 1848 Missouri Reed -- b. ca. 1852 Frank Reed -- b. ca. 1854 Marion Reed -- b. ca. 1856 Zippora Reed -- b. ca. 1858 Lavina Reed -- b. ca. 1860 Looking for Thomas Reed & wives dates of death and burial places (MO & MD) as well as corrected info on children. My line is descended from one of Thomas' children -- but he had 14 others that I would like to get to know. Willing to share the information that I have.
