Which New Providence Cemetery is the one that you have to go through gates and pastures and then cross a creek and go uphill and there it sits on the top of the hill? Is it completely surrounded by private property? My husband did not want to go through the gates but I told him there was no way I was not going! His ggg grandfather, Jonathan Brandenburg, is buried there- died about 1844 if I remember correctly. It has been several years since we were there.
