Faye Montgomery Standard, MO 28 Dec 1883 Page 3, Column 5 Dec. 12, 1883 at the home of her son, J. C. Cope near Price's Branch, Mrs. Jane Cope of paralysis of the brain, aged 79y, 11m, 14d. Born in KY, reared there, married and raised 13 children in Franklin co., Tenn. In 1850 she moved with her husband, John W. Cope, and an unbroken family of children to this county. COPE There are a lot of Cope names in this cemetery, at New Florence and Bellflower a few in Montgomery City, but John W. is not shown a having a tombstone or one that was readable. I don't know the age of this church cemetery, but this is the New Providence Cemetery located in the northeast part of the county, north of Jonesburg, not the one north of Williamsburg/Danville area over Loutre River.
