Carol- Since you are researchig Cope, do you know of a marriage between a Cope male and Camille Fipps in either Montgomery City or Danville,. The Fippses lived near your Cope's and this marriage I was not able to track down through the usual means. This would be in the era after John W. Cope, more likely his kids or grandkids.
