    3. Hello, I'm researching the Jenicek family that lived in Loutre Township or Martinsburg for the 1900 through 1930 census as listed below. 1900 - Upper Loutre Twp, Montgomery Co. Jenicek, Emil - Dec 1869 - 30yrs - mg.3yrs - Bohemia - emig. 1884 Anna T. - wife - Jul 1874 - 25yrs - mg.3yrs - Bohemia - emig. 1890 - 2 chil./1 living Joseph - son - Apr 1899 - 1yr - MO 1910 - Loutre, Audrain Co. Anna - 35yrs - widowed - 6 chil./6 living Joe - 11yrs Mary - 9yrs Annie - 7yrs Barbara - 6yrs Frances - 4yrs Vincent - 2yrs living next to: Jenicek, Frank - 30yrs - Bohemia - emig. 1885 Joseph - brother - 23yrs - Missouri 1920 - Martinsburg, Audrain Co. Frank - 40yrs Anna - 27yrs Rose - 5yrs Clara? - 1 1/2 yrs 1930 - Lourtry, Audrain Co. Frank - 50yrs Anna - 48yrs Rose - 16yrs Mary - 14yrs Frank - 10yrs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My connection .... when researching my great grandfather's ancestry from Bohemia, I discovered he had an older sister, Josefa Komrska, who married a Jakub Tesarek in 1870, and had three children born in Bohemia. The oldest was Jan/John Tesarek who emigrated about 1892, marrying Maria Mazanek in 1895 in St. Louis. The second was also found in St. John Nepomuk Church records in St. Louis - Anna Tesarek, 21yrs, marrying Emanuel Jenicek, 27yrs, from Wellsville, s/o Francis Jenicek from Wellsville. Parents Jakub and Josefa Tesarek were married in Zahorcice, Czech Republic, where their three children were born, but I've yet to locate where they died - possibly in Bohemia. Their third child, Johanna, died young in Bohemia, and no further baptismal/birth records were found in Zahorcice or surrounding towns after 1877. Josefa nee Komrska was born in Radkovice, Czech Republic. Further research indicates that the Jenicek siblings Frank, Joseph, and Emil appear to belong to this family: 1910 - Montgomery, Montgomery Co. Jenicek, F. J. - 66yrs - France/Bohemia - emig. 1889 - mg. 41yrs M. - 61yrs - France/Bohemia - same as above - 10 chil./8 living Mary - 33yrs - France/Bohemia A.L. - 17yrs - Missouri Death records can be found on Missouri SOS site for parents, Frank Joseph and Mary (nee Kriz), and 2 children, Joseph Frank and Mary, along with Emil's wife, Anna M. nee Tesarek. Information on the parent's death certificates was from Wm. Jenicek and Albert Jenicek from Wellsville, which I'm wondering if they were siblings of Frank, Joseph, Emil, and Mary - with A.L. in 1910 census standing for Albert, perhaps? Or, was the Albert Jenicek/Jenecek found in 1910 and 1920 census in St. Louis the same one, and A.L. was someone else? 1920 St. Louis Albert 33yrs Anna 27yrs Marie 9yrs Albert 6yrs I'd be happy to share more info with other descendants from this Tesarek/Jenicek lines, but am likewise interested in filling in some blanks on the Jenicek side, such as when and where Emil/Emanuel died and was buried and who all his siblings were as I'm finding some other Jenicek's in earlier St. Louis records who might be related as well. I'm also curious to know why France and Bohemia were listed together as parent's birth place in the 1910 census. I've never seen that combination and wonder if they were born in one place, but lived in another later on before emigrating. Then to confuse things more, mother Mary's death record in 1913 indicated she and her parents were born in Germany, whereas father Frank's death record in 1912 indicated he and his parents were born in Austria Hungary. But then, as we all know, death records are only as accurate as the info given to the person filling out the record! Thank you for any help with this. Carol Rogers
