Let me know if this helps. Evan Buchanan was my 3rd great-grandfather and Felix Buchanan was my 2nd great-grandfather. Chet Buchanan Rebecca Shaw Rebecca1 Shaw was born 1823 in OH. She married Evan Buchanan Aft. 1860 in MO, son of Robert Buchanan and Sarah Watkins. He was born 13 Jun 1805 in Henry Co., KY, and died 05 Nov 1885 in Lincoln Co., Mo. Notes for Rebecca Shaw: 1. LDS Ancestral File v4.19 list Evan's second wife as Rebecca H. Dillion, not Shaw. 2. She may have died before Evan. He probably lived at one or both of his daughters homes after his second wife (date unknown) and when Zerild's husband died in 1878. However, Evan died at the home of Emma in Olney, Lincoln Co., MO. Even though Lucinda is buried in a nearby cemetery, Evan was buried only a few feet from Zerilda - Macedoncia Cemetery is only a mile or two from Olney. Evan died in 1885 at the age of 80. 3. According to Elender Frisbie, Rebecca Shaw owned land that Jay and Elender once owned in Montgomery Co (about 1960 or so). Her first husband's name was Shaw, so her maiden name might have been Dittion. Descendants of Ella Sarah Shaw 1. Ella Sarah1 Shaw was born Aug 1871 in MO, and died 1957 in Clarksville, MO. She married Albert Van Buren Buchanan 1900, son of Felix Buchanan (son of Evan Buchanan above) and Mary Ferguson. He was born 12 Apr 1867 in near Steeleville, Crawford Co., MO, and died 12 Jan 1940 in Clarksville, MO. Notes for Ella Sarah Shaw: 1957 - Greenwood Cemetery - Block 5, Lot 60, Plot 3 - Don't know if grave is marked. Same block as Albert. Notes for Albert Van Buren Buchanan: 1940 January 18, 1940 - (Thursday) The Clarksville Sentinel: "He married in 1900 to Miss Ella Shaw and they were the parents of a daughter Nellie Marie, who died in infancy. He was a member of the Christian church. " Child of Ella Shaw and Albert Buchanan is: i. Nellie Marie2 Buchanan, b. 1908, Clarksville, Pike Co., MO; d. 1908, Clarksville, Pike Co., MO. Notes for Nellie Marie Buchanan: 1908 - dates on grave stone 1940 - The Clarksville Sentinal January 18, 1940 - daughter of Albert and Ella - died as an infant.
