A daughter was born to George, 13 Apr 1856, ( Mary Ellen WAITT ) in Montgomery County. George had come from Jefferson County, Indiana. He then moved on to Florence, Richland Twp, Morgan County, Missouri where another daughter ( Catherine D. WAITT ) was born about 1858. He and his family were in Missouri around 1855-1859. They had come from Jefferson County, Indiana, and went back there around 1859. George was a Baptist Minister/Lay Leader in Indiana. I am guessing that he went there to help out with the Missouri slavery issue.
