    3. Looking for newspaper articles concerning Wabash freight engine boiler explosion on January 10, 1932 near Truesdale, MO. Looking for information on the men killed and injuried: Fireman Frank C. Foster, Brakeman J. C. Christy and Engineer Louis Zeller. The men worked out of Moberly, MO. Mr. Christy later died; his wife Willie Jewell (Scruggs) Christy was accompanied back to Moberly "...by her sister, Mrs. T. F. Green, and Mr. Green and their son, of St. Louis." I'm looking for this Willie Jewell Scruggs, daughter of William Scruggs and Georgia Ann Welch. Jewell was born November 4, 1898 in New Florence. Her sister was the above Mrs. T. F Green, trying to find any information on this Green Family. Also Georgia Ann (Welch) Scruggs, born March 9, 1857, in Vernon County; lived most of her life in St. Charles, was a member of the Methodist Church at Wellsville and of the Wellston Rebekah Lodge St. Louis. At her death, July 3, 1941, in Moberly, MO; she was survived by two daughter; Willie Jewell (Scruggs) Christy Leake (remarried to a William Richard Leake) and Mrs. J. A Worley of St. Louis. I believe this Mrs. J. A. Worley is Mrs. T. F. Green. Is there a Historical or Genealogical Society in Montgomery County? Any help would be appreciated Sheryl Franklin Morgan
