(married Mary Vandiver, then Sally Vandiver), Benjamin, Samuel, Callier and Sophia. This particular William B. Rice purportedly traveled with Daniel Boone on one of his expeditions to KY. Son William G. Rice had three children by Mary Vandiver, and nine by Sally. It is said he was once an assessor to the county of Montgomery and also had a tavern on Booneslick Road. Who are the spouses of the other named children of William B. Rice; who were his parents? Who were the children of William G. Rice and what has happened to their descendents.
