Hello - I'm seeking info about two possibly different Wilhelm Roethemeier / Rothemeyer families - both listed in the 1880 census. One family is in northern Gasconade county, near Hermann, and another Wm Roethmeyer in southern Montgomery County in McKittrick. In other words these two family listings are just across the Missouri River from each other, but I do believe they were two different families. Anyone with ties to either family out there? Or knowledge about their immigration info? Kurt Roeyer

You should try putting in Campbell and St. Louis MO. and put a message there. Try going to the website www.genforum.genealogy.com/MO then try www.genforum.genealogy.com/campbell and put in a new message. You could call all the cemeteries in St. Louis, MO. to try and find them. How about going to the police station and telling them what you need or writing to law enforcement in St. Louis, MO. and asking them for help. in the meantime i will see what i can do for you.
