Does anyone know who the second wife of Josiah Jackson McGee was? He was born Oct. 27, 1819 in Mercer Co., KY. Married my half-3rd great-grandaunt, Catherine Unice Helm, daughter of Joseph Helm and Nancy Wilcox, on Sept. 2, 1846 in Monroe County. They had, at least, six children: Alonzo Thomas, Sarah, Melissa, William J., Martha "Mattie", and Bettie. Catherine died in 1871. Jackson McGee is found in the 1880 Monroe Co., MO. census still living in Jackson Township with his son, William, and daughters, Mattie & Bettie. Reportedly, his wife was "Polly," age 50 who was born in about 1830 in MO. Her parents both were born in KY. Does anyone know who "Polly" was? Did she have any children from a previous marriage?
