    3. Article from unknown source with handwritten date of (Oct 16, 1955). Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri. Mrs. Fannie Atterbury "Mrs. Fannie B. Atterbury, lifelong citizen of Madison, died on Sunday afternoon at the Hulen Nursing home in Centralia, where she had been a patient for the past year. Mrs. Atterbury was the daughter of William and Susan Baker Morris and was born in Madison, June 7, 1865. In 1888, se was married to Chas. H. Atterbury, who preceded her in death in 1916. Mrs. Atterbury was a charter member of the Madison Presbyterian Church and a member of the first study club and first Eastern Star Chapter in Madison. She is survived by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thompson, with whom she had lived for the three years preceding her entrance to the Hulen home about a year ago. Other survivors are five nephews and three nieces. Funeral services were held at the Thompson Funeral Home, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Claud Hamilton, former minister of the Madison Presbyterian church. Burial was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery." Copyright notice: All transcriptions in this email are copyrighted by their creator.
