    3. Article from unknown source with handwritten date of 1955. Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri. Snidow-Pebley Wedding "Miss Nancy Snidow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Clevenger, of Kansas City and Franklin Pebley, so on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pebley of Craig, Mo., were married in a double ring ceremony at the Broadway Baptist church in Kansas City, Mo., at 4 p.m. January 23. The church was decorated with gladioli and palms with candelabras on each side of the altar. Mr. Martin Donaldson san "I Love You Dear" and "Because" ending the ceremony with "The Lord's Prayer." Miss Florence Snidow, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and her bridesmaids were Mrs. Marilyn Alewel and Mrs. Betty Blomquist, also her sisters. Best man was Frank Russell with Bob Humphrey and John Russell as groomsmen. The bride's dress was of white brocade, ballerina length, with elbow length sleeves, fitted bodice and very full skirt. She carried a bouquet of white camellias. Her attendants wore light blue dresses and carried bouquets of light blue carnations. Mr. Pebley is a graduate of northeast Mo. State Teachers College at Maryville, Mo., and the bride attended the Maryville college for the last year and a half. The couple will make their home at 36th and Paseo in Kansas City."
