Wilma McMorris is Wed to Higbee Man "Madison - Miss Wilma McMorris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred McMorris, near Madison and Charles E. Ashworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Ashworth of Higbee, were married Sept. 22 in a single ring ceremony read by the Rev. Wilbur M. Calliott of Madison and James Copeland. The bride was graduated in 1956 from the Madison High School, and was active in all school events. The groom attended schools in Mattoon, Ill."
