Ruth Lafferty Won Citizenship Award "Ruth Lafferty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Lafferty of Madison, was one of three girls selected for the 1958 Good Citizenship Award given by the Clarence chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ruth is a student in the Shelbina High School and is a member of the Honor Society. Miss Lafferty and the other two girls selected were chosen for the award on the basis of dependability, service leadership and patriotism. They will represent their schools in a state-wide written test to be conducted by the D.A.R. Miss Lafferty is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Quinley of Madison."
