I asked my mother who had to be sewn up at McMurray Hospital when she was much younger. Her brother and sister were both born in the hospital. The front of our house (now) faces the rear of the old hospital that is now just a large house. The whole top floor of the big house was used for the hospital. Mother could not remember the old doctor's first name. She said that his wife worked with him and also his wife's sister worked in the hospital. As far as she could remember the doctor and his wife did not have any children. MBranham
