So by the time I was five he would have been 88 years old and she would have been 81. However, there might be a clue as to another name to resarch. I went to school with a David Irwin. His mother was Grace Irwin, whose maiden name was Wilson. She was the daughter of Carey Wilson. I never heard David's father's name, however David could have been a grandson of the Irwins you are looking for. This was the only Irwin I have heard about in the Paris area. Actually, I think that the census takers called it "Paris City" to distinguish that census data taken within the city limits, from out in the surrounding countryside. Actually, Paris is a small town, population remaining about the same throughout my lifetime. it is about 1,486 and has hovered about the 1400 mark since the 1940's. You might be able to find records of who Grace Wilson married, or find David's father's name through birth records, or school re! cords. He would have been born about 1937, give or take a year or two. I'm sure someone subscribed to this list can probably give you further clues.
