Hayes and Nettie Adkisson were married in Monroe County, Missouri November 29, 1879. William was born in Illinois in 1859-His father was Jesse Hays. Nettie was born in Missouri. Her full name was Sarah Bernettie Adkisson. I am not sure that this spelling of her maiden name is correct, this is the way it appeared on the marriage record. She was born in Missouri.
