I'm trying to complete my records for the descendants of John Henry Carter, Jr. (1832-1919) and Mary Catherine (Webb) Carter (1832-1897). These parents were born in Franklin County, VA and are buried at the Overfelt Cemetery near Holiday, MO. Only three of their nine children have living descendants. My primary line of interest is through their fifth child: Rosalie Carter (1863-1923) m. Fleming Busby Helms (1857-1939). Their children were Mary Barbara Helms (1889-1977) m.
