Mahan Dies "Albert K. Mahan, 61, dies, widely known funeral director, died at (6:15) Tuesday morning at his home, following a heart attack suffered at the funeral home Monday morning. Mr. Mahan is survived by a daughter, Mrs. (Mylen) Smith, Kansas City; a grandson, Mylin M. Smith, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Frank De Witt, Moberly and several nephews and great nephews. Mr. Mahan was born in Moberly, July 1894. Spent all his life in Moberly except for the time he spent in the army. He was preceded in death by his wife. He was a member of the Baptist Church, Moberly Rotary Club, Bozan (Baiy) Post No. 6 of the American Legion and Chamber of Commerce. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with Dr. Merle A. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery."
