    3. Article from unknown source with handwritten date of Oct 3, 1956. Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri. George W. Woods Dies "George W. Woods, 84, died Wednesday in the State Hospital at Fulton after an illness of several years. Mr. Wood was born in Woodlawn vicinity. His wife, the former Miss Lillie Hall, died in 1930. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Stanley Delaney of Holliday and Miss Naomi Woods of Jacksonville, Ill. A grandson, Woods Harris Delaney, near Holliday; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Woods, near Madison and a sister, Mrs. Ernest Key of Jefferson City. The body lay in state at the Funeral Chapel in Madison. Graveside services were conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in Sunset Hill Cemetery by the Rev.
