Mrs. Eva Lena Meals "Mrs. Eva Lean Meals, 81, died Sunday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.S. Anderson in Moberly. Mrs. Meals had been with her daughter the past ten days after becoming ill at her home here. She was born December 25, 1881, the daughter of John Cole and Virginia James Cole. Mrs. Meals was preceded in death by her husband Robert Meals, Sr., in (1962). She was a member of the Madison Baptist Church. Surviving are her three daughters, Mrs. Anderson, Moberly; Mrs. Percy Sloan and Mrs. Lois Estill of Kansas City; a son, Chester meals, Wall Lake, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Thompson-Mackler Chapel with Rev. John Mihlfeld, Baptist minister of Moberly officiating. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery."
