Howe "William Edwin Howe, 92, of Holliday, died early Thursday morning in a rest home in Moberly. Mr. Howe, a retired farmer, was born Oct. 21, 1886. He spent most of his life in the Holliday vicinity. He was a member of the Holliday Christian Church. Mr. Howe was preceded in death by his wife, Amy in 1957, and a son, Kenneth, died in World War II. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Amy Gwynn, of St. Louis; six sons, Ralph Howe, Holliday, O.H. Howe, Paris; Arthur Howe, Los Angeles, Calif; Harold Howe, Nickerson, Kan.; and Cecil Howe, St. Louis. Ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. The body was at the Thompson Mackler Funeral Home in Holliday until the hour of service which were held Saturday at 2 o'clock at the Holliday Christian Church with Rev. John Buck officiating.
