Margaret Crigler Margaret Crigler, 66 of Paris, passed away Saturday evening, May 17, 2003 at her home after a brief illness. Mrs. Crigler was born on December 17, 1936 in Kansas City, to Robert Stone and Mary F. Bowker McFarland. She married James Lee Workman on September 17, 1954 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1979. She married Jerry Crigler on April 21, 1984 and he survives at home. Other survivors include a daughter, Erma (Donnie) Wilkerson of Paris; a son, Bob (Nancy) Workman of Columbia; a step-son, Brian (Carol) Crigler of Paris and seven grand-children. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Katherine Workman and Warren Lee Crigler. She was employed by the Select Services Department of Monroe County, Social Security office in Hannibal, Monroe County Prosecutors Office and was the former City Clerk for the City of Paris. She held this position for 18 years before retiring in 1998. She was also a member of the Paris Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May, 20, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris with Reverend John Grimmett officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial was in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Paris Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Association.
