Have a postcard dated 1890. addressed Joshua Roberts Esq. Strosher or Stroster MO. Monroe Co. Is this town still in existance? If so what part of Monroe Co? or does anyone have information about this couple? They and 11 of their 14 children died in a flu epicemic ( so oral history says ) probably 1900-1903 but have no dates or particular place. Names associated with this family are Whitaker, Woods, Campbell, Hardin . The 3 surviving children were Lee, Nathan Daniel and Pearlie. Have a picture of a Frank Roberts & Harvey Whitaker, also 3 young women -- Mary Roberts, Lizzy Whitaker and Billie Campbell --probably cousins.
