Mrs. Bloodworth, 80, Dies Suddenly; Burial in Madison "Madison - Mrs. Rufus E. Bloodworth died unexpectedly yesterday morning at her home in Kansas City. She would have been 81 years old August 30. Mrs. Bloodworth, the former Miss Elsie Forsyth, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bloodworth, pioneer residents of Monroe county. She was born near Madison and lived there until about 15 years ago when she and her husband moved to Kansas City. They were farmers. Mr. and Mrs. Bloodworth celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, 1957. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Dennis and William Bloodworth of Kansas City and Glenn Bloodworth of Yocum, Tex.; two granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Katie Galloway of Madison; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Muelebach Funeral Home in Kansas City. The body will be brought to Madison between 4 and 4:30 for burial in Sunset Hill cemetery. Mrs. Bloodworth was a member of the Christian church." Bloodworth, who died Friday morning at her home in Kansas City, were held in Madison Sunday afternoon in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Services had been held in Kansas City at 12:30. Mrs. Bloodworth, who formerly lived in the Madison community, moved to Kansas City 15 years ago. Those from out of town attending the service were Dennis Bloodworth, Mrs. William Bloodworth and daughter, Linda, Kansas City; Glenn Bloodworth, Yoakum, Tex.; Tommy Lassiter and Mr. Guyer, Kansas City; Miss Alice Forsyth, Hannibal; Mrs. E.F. Burdick, Barry, Ill.; Gene Forsyth, Columbia; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Miller, Kirksville; Mrs. Ed Kelly, Ottumwa, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Harley, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. C.C. Cunningham, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Forsyth, Miss Virginia Forsyth, Mr. and Mrs. Berkemier and Mrs. Will Moore, Moberly; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lafferty and son, Joe, Holliday. Miss Jennie Bloodworth, Del Miles, Mrs. Leona Adkisson, Mrs. Margaret Quinley, Madison; and Mr. and Mrs. Lafferty and son, Holliday, attended funeral services in Kansas City.
