    3. Article from unknown source. Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri. Death of Mrs. E.A. Jones "Mrs. Sarah Frances Jones, of Holliday, daughter of the late Milton Forsyth and wife of the late Elias A. Jones, died at the McMurry hospital in Paris, Feb. 23, 1931, at the age of 79 years, (0) months and three days. Mrs. Jones was born in Harrison county, Kentucky and came to Monroe county with her parents when she was five years of age and settled on a farm northeast of Madison, where she had spent most of her life. She was married to Elias Jones, Sept 20, 1870 and to this union seven children were born, four sons and three daughters, five of whom with the husband have preceded her in death. The surviving children are Jesse Jones, of near Granville, and Mrs. Joe Quinley, of northeast of Madison. Besides these there remain two sisters, Mrs. George Galloway and Mrs. R.E. Bloodworth, of near Madison, three brothers, Frank, of West Ely; Will, of Roswell, N.M, and Joe of Madison. Funeral services were conducted from the Holliday Christian church Wednesday by her pastor, Elder J.W. Pearson and interment was made in Bethel cemetery at Holliday."
